The second of only four Jolus cars built by Bob Joass of Sydney, and inspired by the Lotus 18 Formula Junior, this Ford 1098cc-engined car raced as a Formula Junior from 1961 to 1963, driven by Paul Bolton. In 1962 it won the ‘Keen’s Mustard’ Trophy for the best Australian-built Formula Junior that season.

With the Ford 105E engine, Triumph Herald front end, Renault steering and a Volkswagen gearbox, the Jolus cars were typical Australian Specials, made up of a variety of components available to the constructor.

The third Jolus car in Jolus-Minx specifications and fitted with a 1600cc engine raced at Mount Panorama from 1962 to 1965.
